Tooke Rockies, Inc. has embarked on a major upgrade of its equipment, we have developed the TookeDAQ System software and coupled it with new gas detection equipment to provide you the customer with reliable, powerful and accurate data. The TookeDAQ System is the standard instrumentation in our Mudlogging fleet and is also available to our rental customers. It has all necessary pumps and plumbing as well as both the Total Gas and Chromatograph in one compact unit.

What is the TookeDAQ System? Well for one thing it is the future of wellsite gas detection, it is a Total Gas detector and a Chromatograph in one complete system. Thats right a fully functional Chromatograph and a powerful integrator to read it, as well as a Total Gas Detector, plus all those sensors and circuits necessary to collect, Lag and transfer your data. Like all Tooke Equipment the TookeDAQ is fully WITS compliant, which means we can connect to those Electronic Drilling Recorders (EDR’s) like Pason, Totco and Epoch.

The TookeDAQ System coupled with our industry standard Wellsight Systems Logging software make a powerful and accurate combination, designed to give you the data you need when and how you need it.

Portable Gas Detector

Versatility and simplicity have been blended together to create the most recent addition to Tooke's  equipment lineup. In response to client demands, we now offer a gas detection system that can function as a standalone unit, continuously monitoring and storing ROP and total gas data for retrieval as desired. Capable of exporting data in .las file format directly to a floppy disk, this unit makes an excellent companion to our mudlogging software. The system is ideally suited to locations where a complete logging trailer is not practical or necessary.

Depth and ROP data can be monitored in 2 ways. If a Pason® or similar electronic geolograph is installed on the rig, an interface cable allows a direct connection with Tooke's computerized system for precise depth/ROP synchronization. Alternatively, a precision depth encoding device can be installed on a traditional pen and paper geolograph, along with an on/off bottom sensor to ensure proper synchronization with the unit.

The security of your data is assured through redundant data backups. Approximately 3 days' data can be stored in onboard memory, while a floppy disk (automatically updated every kelly down) stores the data for the entire well. A tractor feed printer is a standard feature to provide a printed copy of the data in real time. Click here for a sample printout.

The unique gas trap assembly features a hand crank for easy adjustment, and plastic housing construction for light weight and corrosion resistance. A high speed, sealed, explosion-proof motor provides safe, consistent mud agitation.
